AN interim ban has been given to a drink-driver caught at Bishopsteignton.
Jonathan Alexander Randall, aged 33, of Membury Close, Exeter, admitted driving a Saab 9-3 while over the limit at Teignmouth Road, Bishopsteignton. He gave a reading of 63 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The limit is 35 mcgs.
The case was adjourned to July 6 for a pre-sentence report. He was given an interim driving ban until the case has been dealt with.
He also pleaded guilty to careless driving at Bishopsteignton on January 12 of this year.
Randall was granted unconditional bail.
A charge that he had failed to stop when asked by a police officer was withdrawn by the prosecution.
