A MAN who was caught drink-driving on the A382 at Moretonhampstead, has been banned.
Jack Duncan Rennie, aged 38, of Bridford, Exeter, admitted the charge when he was driving a Skoda Fabia. He gave a reading of 43 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court banned him from driving for a year, which can be reduced by three months if he completes a course. He was fined £120.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £48 to fund victim services.
