TOURISTS and commuters arriving at Teignmouth by train could be in for a treat as a colourful mural of the town has been donated to the train station.
Teignmouth Town Council has agreed to offer a ‘spectacular’ Laura Wall mural to Great Western Railway, with a view to having it displayed at the Teignmouth Railway Station.
Cllr Becky Cox (pictured right) put the motion forward, saying since the closure of the community garden in George Street, the mural was in storage in Bitton House.
Becky said: ‘It’s all part of making Teignmouth look good.’
Becky added that there will be little cost involved as the mural was paid for by mayor, Peter Williams, and made by Teignmouth image firm, Inspirations.
