POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a Post Office van had its wing mirrored smashed in Ashburton.

On Saturday, March 22, the van, which was parked on St Lawrence Lane, had the drivers side mirror smashed.

And on the very same evening Howard Douglas Estate Agents had its windows damaged.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team are looking into all lines of enquiry relating to these incidents to identify those involved.

House to house enquiries and CCTV checks are currently being carried out, with increased patrols around Ashburton planned, the Mid-Devon Advertiser understands.
