THE case against a man accused of stealing from Newton Abbot’s Boots and Superdrug stores has been adjourned.

Tom Richard Davis, aged 29, of Risden Avenue, Plymouth, is charged with stealing five bottles of perfume worth £176 from the Boots store.

He is also accused of stealing a spa giftset, lipstick box and make-up box from Superdrug.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court adjourned the case to February 22.
