The westbound A38 has closed this morning between the Splatford Split A380 junction and the A382 junction due to a ‘significant spillage’ following an accident.
Emergency services including the Devon and Somerset Police are in attendance.
Traffic is being diverted along the A380 to the Sandygate Junction and along Clay Pits Way towards Chudleigh Knighton.
National Highways expect the road to reopen later this morning
