IT’S Panto time again!

On no it isn’t! Oh yes it is!

Shaldon Theatre Company are currently in full-blown rehearsal mode as they prepare for an enchanting tale that will grace the stage of Pavilions Teignmouth later next month

Beauty and The Beast is the chosen production this year, which has been written by Alan Frayne

The company are delighted to be returning to the Pavilions after their sell-out performances of Shout!, Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella, and the pantomime promises to be yet another fantastic production for all the family with a brilliant live band, amazing costumes, lots of laughs, plenty of boos and a whole host of dancing and singing.

The tale follows the wicked enchantress Belladonna and her nasty plan to turn Prince Danton into a hideous beast, to reverse the spell he must win Belle’s heart before the last rose of summer falls.

Meanwhile, Gustave the local lothario will try and charm his way to Belle’s heart but her meddling sisters Whitney and Britney will be sure to get in the way. Madame Fifi and her son Jacques will be on hand to help the Beast, but will love prevail?

Will fear not , for they have Flora the Flower Fairy who will bring some magic and sparkle to this truly delightful fairytale. Come along to find out if true love wins the day!

Beauty and the Beast runs at Pavilions Teignmouth from January 26 to 30 with performances at 7.30pm plus matinees on January 29 at 2.30pm and a 1.30pm matinee on January 30.
