A DATE has been set for the trial of an 85-year-old woman from Okehampton who is accused of crashing into a pedestrian in an accident in Chagford.
Evelyn Cass, of Broadpark, Okehampton, is accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving to pedestrian Christopher Park in April 2019 on the A382 at Chagford.
Judge David Evans set a trial date of June 29 when Cass appeared at Exeter Crown Court for the first time.
He set a timetable for the progress of the case.
