The case of a man who is accused of carrying out a ram raid at Trago Mills near Newton Abbot has been delayed after he decided to change his legal representation.
Dylan Taylor, aged 33, of Litchfield Road, Torquay, denies attempting to burgle the store at Stover in the early hours of December 10 last year.
Taylor’s case at Exeter Crown Court was adjourned after he made an application to change his legal representation from local solicitor Mr Jeffrey Segan to a firm in London.
Judge Erik Salomonsen adjourned the case for two weeks, when the application to transfer legal aid will be heard by the Recorder of the City of Exeter and senior resident Judge Geoffrey Mercer, QC.
The alleged ram raid on the ATM machine took place at 2 am on Sunday December 10, 2017, from the Coop store at the Trago Mills site.
