TRAFFIC is being held up in Dawlish due to an accident.
The A379 Teignmouth Road is reported to be closed in both direction due to road traffic collision between John Nash Drive and Coronation Avenue.
The main A road in Dawlish was closed just before 2pm. Diversions were in place.
According to Stagecoach, several buses have been diverted on a route around the accident.
A spokesman said on social media: ‘Afternoon there has been a RTC at Dawlish so all 2s are on diversion.
‘Sorry for any delays caused.’
It was reported that traffic was being diverted down Oak Hill and First Avenue but was described as ‘very busy’.
