POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man wanted in connection with reports of theft, assault and failure to attend court. 

John Matthews, 38, is from Exeter but has links to Kingskerswell and Paignton. 

Enquiries have been made by officers to locate him and they are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.
