FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a fire in the centre of Newton Abbot tonight (Sunday, October 20) .
Crews have responded to a blaze believed to be at the Market Fish and Chip shop in Market Street.
Eyewitnesses have reported at least four fire engines at the scene and Market Street has been closed by the emergency services.
