A TRACTOR driver suffered a suspected broken arm in an roll-over accident just outside Coffinswell.
The Devon Air Ambulance was part of the emergency response in Ridge Road just before 3pm on Wednesday. But its services were not needed as the casualty, in his 50s, was ferried to Torbay Hospital in a land ambulance.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident which involved the tractor toppling over in a field.
Firefighters were called to release the trapped driver, but their attendance was cancelled when the man managed to get free from his overturned vehicle.
He was said to be conscious and breathing at the scene. Police were also alerted.
