Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have 10 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing holdups of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 10 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A38, from 8pm January 6 to 4am January 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay to Peartree - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs on behalf of National Highways.

A30, from 8pm January 6 to 6am January 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen exit and entry slip closed for LED upgrade, diversion via Alphington and return, diversion for right turn via Woodleigh and return.

A30, from 8pm January 7 to 6am January 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Fingle Glen lane closure for LED upgrade.

A30, from 8pm January 8 to 6am January 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for LED upgrade.

A38, from 8pm January 8 to 4am January 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Lower Dean to Dartbridge - lane closure for drainage works.

A38, from 7pm January 9 to 6am January 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Peartree entry slip closure, for Horticultural works, diversion via A38 westbound to Dartbridge, junction and return.

A30, from 8pm January 9 to 6am January 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 westbound, Woodleigh exit and entry slip closed for LED upgrade, diversion for exit via Whiddon Down, diversion for entry via Alphington.

A38, from 8pm January 10 to 6am January 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay to Peartree, lane closure for barrier works.

A30, from 8pm January 13 to 6am January 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 entry slip road closed including lane closures on M5 southbound and A30 eastbound, diversion via A30, A38 to Kennford and return.

A38, from 8pm January 14 to 6am January 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31 - lane closures for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
